We are currently seeking a Lecturer to join the Mathematics team at the University of Chichester. Based at our Bognor Regis Campus, we provide high quality education for undergraduates in Mathematics, Statistics and Mathematics Education.

You will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate Mathematics programmes and assist in the administration, evaluation and development of Mathematics programmes at all levels. Mathematics at Chichester is predominately taught in small-group environments where you will be expected to inspire and motivate students. In addition, you will have the opportunity to undertake your own research to develop a personal research profile and support in the development of Mathematics research and development projects.

You will have a good relevant undergraduate degree and further professional or academic qualifications would be advantageous. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional teaching methods and presentation skills, will have excellent academic support and guidance skills, and be able to motivate, enthuse and develop students.

Shortlisted candidates will be expected to give a 10 minute presentation introducing an aspect of statistics at a level suitable for first year undergraduates.
