When Hound Lodge opens its doors and lets you in, you won't ever want to leave

As our Kitchen Assistant you will be a vital part of our close-knit team. You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen areas, keeping sparklingly clean and will take real pride in maintaining a safe place to work.

You will support our fabulous Head Chef, Lisa by carrying out duties including washing-up and putting away dishes, cutlery and equipment.

You will take pride in helping deliver locally sourced ingredients and expertly created dishes, sharing our deeply rooted passion for high quality food. 

Hound Lodge is an exclusive 10 bedroom country retreat set in the midst of Goodwood's 12,000 acre Estate. We provide our guests with a beautiful escape from the world, with their own private Chef and Butler tending to their every need.

You'll have the chance develop your culinary skills, gain strong experience in a truly unique environment and will receive lots of training, free uniform and staff meals when on shift.

What you'll have:

• Physical fitness - you'll need to do some heavy lifting
• Your own, reliable transport
• A friendly, positive and helpful attitude
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
• Certificates in Food Hygiene, COSHH, Manual Handling and some training in Health and Safety would be desirable but are not essential as training is provided.
