An established chartered accountancy firm are looking to welcome an experienced part qualified Accounts and Audit Senior to the team based in central Brighton, East Sussex.

The office is centrally located and a short walk from Preston Park station or easily accessible via the City's bus network. There are also storage facilities for your bike if you fancied a leisurely cycle to work with the firm also offering parking permit loans if driving was your option!

As an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior, you will work with a diverse portfolio of clients consisting of differing sizes and within a range of various industries in a mix accounts and audit role. You'll have the with the confidence and ability to work independently but as part of a wider team.

About You:

• ACA or ACCA part qualified (active studiers)
• The firm is an approved training practice for both ACA and ACCA so full study support offered
• Demonstrable experience of working in a prominent accountancy firm as either a Semi-Senior or Senior
• Sound technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105
• Some exposure with the audit cycle
• First class communication and presentation skills in this client facing role
• Experience using different accounting software such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow. Good working knowledge of Excel and Word;
• Working knowledge of CCH desirable, but not essential
