Content & Social Media Executive


£25000 - £28000 + benefits

With strong experience managing corporate social media platforms the Content and Social Media Executive will have ownership for developing and delivering content across all social media platforms and improve online presence. Expert in copywriting, able to proof read and have a passion for storytelling and driving customer acquisition.

Duties will include

  • Create & Develop Social Media Strategy to reach targeted clients
  • Develop social media channels to engage audiences, increasing brand awareness
  • Write innovative and engaging social media content which engages with the demographic of each social media channel
  • Manage the social media content calendar
  • Manage the analytics for all social platforms, analyse trends, ROI and provide insights and reporting on social media effectiveness, customer touch points, providing recommendations
  • Assist with social media PPC campaigns and monitor to improve cost per action performance
  • Write, coordinate and distribute a suite of high-quality on and off-line content (copy, video, design assets, infographics) to generate an increase in lead generation, brand awareness, engagement with different audiences across social media, web, events, print and email campaigns.
  • Maintain and develop a content library
  • Work with other teams, e.g. SEO to develop content strategy, Marketing to support events, providing high-quality content
  • Develop social media and content metrics to report insights
  • Monitor and track performance of all social media and content activity

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Relevant experience with a strong background in managing social media campaigns and digital content
  • Excellent copywriting and 'storytelling' skills; ability to convey excitement and passion in everything you do with demonstrable experience of writing content in line with SEO
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in creative and original content writing across both online and offline channels
  • Practical experience of using social media management systems
  • Provide examples of work/portfolio with CV
  • intermediate level of Excel
  • Public speaking experience, such as presentations, panels, launches, etc.
  • Comfortable on camera (opportunity to be Brand Ambassador in video and social)
  • B2B experience in SAAS or Professional Services
  • IDM/CIM qualification preferred
