Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced Butcher, with at least 2–3 years’ butchery experience, to join our friendly and hardworking butchery team. We are a small, family-run business based in Ford, near Arundel, specialising in the food trade and delivering our products to local pubs and restaurants.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, hardworking team with a great atmosphere.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • Excellent knife skills and be competent in all aspects of the butchery trade, including portion control.
  • To be well organised, accurate and able to work on your own initiative.
  • To be happy working as part of a team.
  • At least 2–3 years’ relevant butchery experience.
  • Your own transport to and from work, due to our rural location in Ford, West Sussex, near Arundel.
  • A reliable and hardworking attitude.
