We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and willing team of Relief Support Workers to improve the lives of homeless young people in our community.  Are you looking to gain experience in the field of homelessness prevention, and can work flexibly across our services to deliver high-quality support within our young people services and to help build a positive future as well as keeping them safe?

You will be working with 16+ Older Looked After Young People and Care Leavers that are in the care of West Sussex, providing front facing support.  You will be required to become familiar with legislation regarding young people in the care of local authority, and robust safeguarding and health and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team and independently, with good communication skills and the ability to motivate, engage and inspire, including the initiative to be able to deal with challenging situations in a calm, kind and effective manner.

Our services are based in Chichester, and we are looking for people who are able to work flexible hours, with a regular commitment to the overall aim of ending homelessness.

Previous experience of working within the homeless sector or similar setting is not essential.
