We are recruiting for staff to work in one of our most personalised services supporting ‘Laura’. Laura lives in her own home and supported by staff loves to get out every day enjoying time in wide open spaces. When at home Laura loves to listen to her music, gardening, cooking and all things to do with Grease the musical. Laura is very much accepting of differences and embraces diversity, she’s unique and quirky and doesn’t get bothered by what other people think of her. What matters to her the most is true liking, kindness and the desire to spend time together living in the moment to enjoy things as they are as they happen.
We would love to hear from you if – you also enjoy doing these things, think you would enjoy working with just one person, and ideally have previous experience of supporting someone who has a diagnosis of autism and non-verbal communication.
We know that Laura benefits from having consistent, long-term people in her life, therefore your career progression, happiness and wellbeing is paramount to us.
Full training with extensive shadowing sessions with established workers before any solo work will be provided.
