We are seeking to recruit staff to our team of part time hourly paid Exam Invigilators/Amanuenses (Scribes) to work with and support students with additional requirements. Duties will be undertaken at both the Bognor and the Chichester campuses, as required. Currently examinations take place on weekdays only during, 2 weeks in December, 3 weeks in May and one week in August.

The post holders will be required to provide a calm, organised and professional atmosphere in which the student(s) can take their exam. They will be IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word. They must also be able to work independently or with colleagues, maintain close attention to detail under pressure and follow instructions and procedures accurately. In addition, they must be able to give clear instructions taking account of the individual needs of the student(s).

Duties are allocated across the team, for each examination period, based on student requirements and staff availability.

These roles are fixed term and paid on an hourly basis.
