RS Sailing, the world's largest small boat brand is currently seeking an Operations Assistant to join their award winning team based in Romsey, Hampshire.

The role of the Operations Assistant is perhaps the most diverse in the company and requires a person who is highly organised, tenacious and above all, able to communicate effectively with our customers and across all departments of the business.

As soon as a sale is made it is up to the Operations Department to fulfil that promise to the customer. This involves constant communication with the customer and workshop/factories, order administration, quoting deliveries, taking payment, creating export documentation, administration of systems and databases.

It's a bit of a cliche but no two days are ever the same when you work in operations. 
One minute you will be liaising with freight agents, trying to get boats out to exotic locations, the next you will be on the phone to the distribution hub in the East Midlands organising their weekly dispatches or being briefed by the sales team on their latest sale. Getting over 2000 boats out the door in a year is challenging but rewarding.
If you like variety, are mentally dexterous and thrive under pressure then this is the job for you.

Experience of sage200 and knowledge of export procedures preferred but not essential.
