Overview of role:

  • You will lead a team of multi skilled colleagues to ensure the effective day to day operations of the cash and debt recovery control function. Liaising with internal and external customers, on a wide range of issues, complaints, and requests for information or advice.

  • Leading, motivating and developing team members, coordinating their ongoing training and development.
  • Coordinating available resources and monitor team workflow to ensure accurate processing
  • Monitoring individual staff and team performance.
  • Recommending actions to resolve problems in order to maintain operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Recommending and implementing changes to the way in which the team operates to improve service quality and process efficiency.
  • Supporting line management in the implementation of centrally driven changes when required
  • Scheduling process changes to minimise impact upon customers.
  • Providing project support where required ensuring own deliverables are on time and to specification.

Candidate requirements:

  • Ability to oversee collection of data and review data analysis, discerning where logical patterns and sequences emerge in a volume of information.
  • Anticipates and promptly raises operational or resource issues.
  • Ability to identify system/process improvements.
  • Establishes realistic timescales to ensure objectives are met.
  • Demonstrable MS Office skills, specifically knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Confidence in leading/assisting with managing those around you.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
