The successful candidate will be responsible for providing VAT, PAYE/NI and Corporation Tax support to the Tax Manager to ensure the Local authority meets its statutory obligations in operating tax law and regulations. You will provide training and guidance across the partnership. You'll have:

• Strong accounting and/or tax knowledge
• Good understanding of VAT, PAYE/NI within a public sector environment
• AAT, ATT, CTA or equivalent experience
• Excellent team management skills
