We are looking for reliable, experienced, approachable, professional Tai Chi tutor/teacher who is passionate about the practice to teach our students on Thursday mornings 09.00-10:00. A teaching commitment of 16 hours throughout the two semesters. (semester time only). This position is likely to suit a current teacher who can fit in with our timetable delivering sessions during semester time.


The post holder will contribute to the delivery of the Professional Resilience module, within the Conservatoire, to first year undergraduate students; teaching a basic level of Tai Chi which recognises, the mind-body connection, can help to quieten the mind, maintain strength, flexibility, and balance. The ability to adapt to and teach in an engaging manner in a variety of styles is essential. Along with a genuine interest in the education and wellbeing of our students.

This position will require a Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) which will be undertaken by the University on appointment.
