An accountancy practice based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, are looking for a qualified Tax Manager to join their growing team. The firm has a strong reputation, particularly for their christian ethics and client relationships.

About You:

• Likely CTA qualified
• Minimum of 12 months PQE
• 4+ years experience within Practice
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Ability to plan and self-manage workload
• Experience managing a team of staff
• Strong private client tax knowledge
• Some understanding of corporate tax is essential
• Confident reviewing work
• Strong technical knowledge
• Experience with charity clients is advantageous

About the role:

• Preparation and review of tax returns
• Predominantly private client tax but some other direct tax work also
• Advisory work for clients
• Client variety, including SME's, charities, sole traders and partnerships
• Responsibility for overseeing and mentoring junior staff
• Client facing role
• Close working relationships with the Directors
• Involvement in training new staff
