An expanding business operating in a niche engineering market has a superb opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Accountant who is looking to start, or has already started studying towards their ACCA/CIMA qualification. You must have a desire to become a qualified accountant in order to be considered for this role and in return, you will be given unlimited access to a comprehensive training and development programme within a dynamic organisation who are part of a Global group.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities are not limited to but will include; processing month-end reporting and journal adjustments such as prepayments and accruals; preparing monthly Intrastat compliance reports and reviewing monthly VAT reconciliations; reviewing weekly and monthly multi-currency bank reconciliations; supporting the Financial Accountant with the monthly intercompany reporting; reviewing the Fixed Asset Register; monthly/weekly sales reporting; preparing monthly KPI reports; reviewing aged debtors and aged creditors; processing monthly variance analysis reports for the budget holders.
