Reporting directly to a qualified Finance Director, this individual will take the lead role in financial and management reporting for the business. They will also oversee 2 permanent members of staff, and play a key role in the selection and implementation of a new accounts system. This will be a critical role for the organisation and would suit a driven individual with excellent technical skills.

Overview of duties:

• Financial reporting and management accounting for the organisation.
• To manage the finance team including the organisation of tasks and projects.
• Leading the production and review of monthly management accounts.
• Lead the organisation of the statutory audits.
• Engage in educating and communicating to colleagues, especially departmental leaders, influence decisions that enthuse optimal management of financial resources.
• Facilitate in business planning, including budgeting, forecasting, longer term business plans and ad hoc planning analysis and requests.
• To assist in formulating applications for grants and trust applications.
• Responsible for balance sheet review and controls for all legal entities.
• Oversee all aspects of purchase and sales ledger controls.
