Fernhurst Primary School is set in spacious grounds in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, where pupils have a strong sense of community with a set of shared values which underpin the life of the school and drive the curriculum. The dedicated team of staff and Governors strive to create an environment in which every child is a happy and successful learner.

You will have a secure knowledge of the national curriculum and be enthusiastic to join our dedicated and supportive team of staff. Able to inspire, challenge and motivate pupils to excel, you will provide the support and encouragement needed as pupils establish a sense of their own self, gaining in confidence and acquiring learning to learn skills. You will have high expectations for pupils' achievement and the skills to differentiate teaching and learning for pupils of all abilities and needs, through current knowledge of best practice in learning and child development.
Applications are especially welcome from teachers in their first few years of teaching and NQTs who would like to be part of our school, helping pupils to develop and progress in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment.
The School is part of the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust family.
