Full-time

To start September 2017

Fernhurst Primary School is set in spacious grounds in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, where pupils have a strong sense of community with a set of shared values which underpin the life of the school and drive the curriculum. The dedicated team of staff and Governors strive to create an environment in which every child is a happy and successful learner.

The school provides a rich curriculum, enhanced by Forest Schools and numerous opportunities for pupils to engage in music and drama and to participate in village life

As an experienced and inspiring EYFS specialist with excellent classroom skills, you will make a real difference in a school that is determined to continue on its Journey to Excellence for the benefit of all pupils.  You will be committed to improving standards and have the skills to create a stimulating and purposeful learning environment ensuring all pupils are achieving their best.  You will have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to work as part of a team; and be energetic, enthusiastic and willing to contribute to the wider aspects of academy life and be committed to working in partnership with parents/carers, governors and the local community.

The School is part of the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust family.  Each academy has a unique identity, but a shared belief of creating a positive and enriching environment, where all staff feel valued and proud to be part of the Trust.  As an EYFS Teacher, you will have access to opportunities for professional development and to current research and support from experts in effective strategies for child learning and development.

Interview date:  31st March 2017 (Friday)
