You will be supporting the head of the Accounts department responsible for VAT applications for self-employed and Ltd Company contractors

The role is very customer focused – providing support to customers and dealing with their enquiries on their accounts in particular:

• Conduct introductory calls to new clients, explaining registration process and
• Identifying cross-selling opportunities
• Apply for authorisation codes on behalf of clients, via HMRC website
• Chase outstanding authorisation codes from clients
• Respond to and handle clients' queries via telephone and email
• Support VAT compliance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and clear telephone manner

A background in customer care/service environment, including handling email and phone queries

Team player with a flexible approach, possessing a strong commitment to customer service excellence

Good time management with ability to multitask and work under pressure

Hours of Work

Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am – 5.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch (Fri)
