Our Client is looking for a Warehouse Assistant. The role of warehouse assistant, is a varied role and will involve some cross training on all departments across warehouse operations, including Packing, Gift Wrapping, Dispatch, Goods-In and Personalising. Going into their peak trading period, the warehouse will be a fast moving and high energy environment to work in with the main focus being on quality, accuracy and efficiency.

Hours and Pay:

Monday - Thursday 9:00am to 5:30pm

Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Overtime available including Saturdays

£7.20 per hour on a temporary basis, with change of permanent role after 12 weeks.

Duties Include:

- Accurately and efficiently packing stock for store replenishment orders.

- Performing all Packing tasks.

- Assisting the Goods-In department with counting, QC and the put away of inbound stock.

- Maintain a high level of quality control on all items.

- Ensure that the warehouse is clear and tidy at all times.

- Assist other warehouse departments as and when required.

- Adhere to all Health and Safety Guidelines.

- Represent the Client and their Brand at all times while working both in and out of the warehouse.

Required Skills:

- Excellent organisational skills

- Physically fit

- Works well within a team environment

- Able to stand for long periods

- Attention to detail and an aptitude with numbers

- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

-Basic understanding of warehouse workings.

Full driving licence would be beneficial due to the location of the client, but not essential.
